A day at Bletchley Park – the home of code-breaking!

Today year 6 and Miss MacDonald visited the awesome Bletchley Park, near Milton Keynes. Bletchley Park was a vitally important place during World War II where many people worked in top secret to crack the codes of the enemy!

Many of the workers who were based at Bletchley Park were sworn to secrecy about the work they carried out here and it’s only in more recent years that we’ve discovered the phenomenal things they achieved here.

During the day year 6 got to crack some codes of their own and explored this truly wonderful place, a place that is so important in British history.
